Solutions — Distributors
Breadth of assortment from one supplier file
A distributor carries a category, not a product. That usually means several factories, several lead times and several packaging conventions to reconcile. Consolidating part of that assortment onto one production partner is mostly a documentation problem before it is a price one.
Your situation
The cost of a wide catalogue is administrative, not commercial
A distributor's margin is decided less by the unit price than by how much work each SKU generates. Every additional factory adds a lead time to track, a packaging standard to remember, a carton-marking convention to check and a compliance file set to keep current. Multiply that by a catalogue of a few hundred lines and the administrative load becomes the real constraint on growth.
Consolidation is rarely a single switch. In practice the assortment moves across in groups, starting with the products whose specifications are already documented or easiest to document, and with the categories where one production partner can cover several lines at once. Plush, squeaky, chew and seasonal toys coming from one factory is what removes the need to qualify a second supplier for a single behaviour or a single seasonal programme.
The other half of the problem is reorder predictability. A distributor reorders on demand rather than to a plan, which makes a documented specification far more valuable than a strong first sample: the third order should not require anyone to remember what the first one looked like. See how the specification and approval gates are handled in our OEM and ODM process, and what the inspection chain records on the factory page.
What to bring to the first conversation
- The category map — which lines you carry, and which of them you would consider moving first.
- Existing specifications — drawings, samples or specification sheets for the products in scope.
- Packaging conventions — the formats and carton-marking scheme your customers expect.
- Compliance expectations — which documents your trade customers and their retailers ask for.
- Reorder pattern — roughly how often and in what increments you replenish each line.
- Destination markets — the countries your assortment ships to, which sets the file set per line.
How we support it
What a distributor needs from a factory
Four things that decide whether consolidation actually reduces the load or just moves it.
Multiple categories from one production partner
Plush, squeaky, chew, rope, interactive and seasonal lines are produced here, so a category can be covered without a second factory for one toy behaviour or one seasonal programme.
One packaging convention across the assortment
Formats, label templates and carton-marking schemes are standardised across the lines you move, so the range presents consistently to your trade customers instead of reading as a collection of unrelated imports.
Documented specifications for every line
Each product moved carries a signed sample and a specification sheet, so a reorder is placed against a record rather than a memory and a substitute product cannot drift into the range unnoticed.
A compliance file set that stays current
CE, ISO 9001, the SGS SVHC test report and the TÜV AUSTRIA OK compost HOME certificate are held in-house, and the applicable set is named per order, which keeps your trade customers' documentation requests answerable.
A distributor assortment typically draws on our dog toy, cat toy, best-selling and seasonal lines.
What distributors ask
Next steps
Sample, quote, catalogue or a direct message
Every route below reaches the team that would quote and run the order. There is no sales desk in between.
Request a sample
Samples are available on several lines. Send the construction, the size and the destination market, and we will confirm what can be sampled and when.
Request a quote
The quotation states the minimum order quantity, the sampling date and the compliance file set that applies to your line. Exact figures are named per line, never as a blanket number.
Request the catalogue
The product catalogue and the procurement guides are sent through the same request form, so that what you receive matches the range and the market you are buying for. There is no direct download link.
Message on WhatsApp
For a short question or a photograph of a reference product, WhatsApp reaches the same team. Messages outside China Standard Time are answered on the next working day.
Send the category map
Tell us which lines you carry and which you would consider moving first. We will say which of them can be covered here, what the minimum is per line, and what the specification needs before volume is quoted.
