Four families, one production partner

Materials and construction
What the buyer is actually specifying
A toy is a fabric, a filling, a sound device and a seam. These are the four things a sample fixes, and the four things a repeat order has to reproduce.
The sound device is sealed inside the shell on a finished toy, so it cannot be photographed from outside: squeaker grade and seating are fixed at sampling and then verified by a function check on the finished unit rather than visually. Material grades, weights and colours for a specific order are confirmed against a signed sample. For the full fabric and polymer list, see materials and technology.
OEM and ODM
Three ways to start
Which one fits depends on how much of the design you already own. All three run through the same sampling, inspection and packaging process.
Existing Design
You take a construction already in the range and put your own brand on it — label, header card, hang tag and carton marks produced to your artwork.
Fastest route. The shape is proven; only the presentation changes.
Modify a Design
An existing shape is reworked to your brief: colourway, fabric, size, trim, or where the squeaker sits. The two images are the same construction before and after.
A second sampling round covers the changes; the untouched parts stay as they were.
Develop a New Toy
You bring a concept, a sketch or reference photography. We develop the pattern, build the first sample, and revise it against your comments until the construction is signed off.
Slowest route, and the one that produces a shape nobody else holds.
| Route | What you supply | What we change | Sampling |
|---|---|---|---|
| Existing Design | Brand artwork, label and packaging specification | Presentation only — label, header card, hang tag, carton marks | Label and packaging proof |
| Modify a Design | Reference construction plus the changes you want | Colourway, fabric, size, trim, squeaker placement | Revised sample against the original |
| Develop a New Toy | Sketch, concept, or reference photography | Pattern, construction, materials, sound device | Full sampling with revision rounds |
The factory floor
Where the range is actually made
Cutting, embroidery, sewing, filling, inspection and testing are separate operations under one roof. A buyer qualifying a supplier usually wants to see the step their product is most exposed to.
Representative project
How a private-label assortment runs
A representative engagement, in the order a buyer would experience it. Client names, volumes and commercial terms are not published.
-
01 / BRIEF
The requirement
A private-label buyer wanted a full dog-toy assortment under its own label, own-brand packaging, and compostability evidence for a home-compostable claim on part of the range.
-
02 / DEVELOPMENT
Artwork to sampling plan
Artwork was converted into a sampling plan. Pile height and trim were adjusted so the printed pattern held its shape on the finished toy rather than on the flat fabric.
-
03 / COMPLIANCE
Test reports matched to the claim
The compostable SKUs were moved to a material covered by the TÜV AUSTRIA OK compost HOME certificate. The rest of the range shipped against standard CE and SVHC documentation.
-
04 / PACKAGING
Own-label presentation
Header cards, hang tags and carton markings were produced to the buyer's label, with the destination market's language set applied to the retail copy.
The outcome the buyer was buying was single-source control: one sampling round, one compliance file and one packing specification covering the whole assortment. Read the private-label range case study in full, or see all case studies for further representative projects.
Solutions by buyer
The same factory, six different jobs
What a brand owner needs from a manufacturer is not what a distributor needs from one, even when the products are identical. Each route below leads to the page written for that job — and whichever you are, naming the product line and the project type in your RFQ is what gets you a specific answer rather than a general one.
Brand owner
Character and range development under your own brand, from artwork to a signed sample and a costed panel structure.
Private label
Multi-SKU own-brand ranges built on one packaging standard, one label template and one carton-marking scheme.
E-commerce and DTC
Parcel-ready packaging, marketplace labelling and documentation, and formats specified for courier transit rather than shelf display.
Distributor
Breadth of assortment from a single supplier file, with consistent lead times, packaging conventions and paperwork.
Retailer
Own-brand programmes and category supply, built to the fixture, the planogram and the labelling the chain requires.
Wholesale
Volume supply and reorder consistency: the product repeats from a signed sample and a specification sheet, not from memory.
Read how the three sourcing routes differ before you choose one in the route comparison, or go straight to what to name in your RFQ.
Questions buyers ask first
Next steps
Sample, quote, catalogue or a direct message
Every route below reaches the team that would quote and run the order. There is no sales desk in between.
Request a sample
Samples are available on several lines. Send the construction, the size and the destination market, and we will confirm what can be sampled and when.
Request a quote
Name the product line and the project type in your message: private label, an adaptation or a new development. That is what the quotation is built on, and what lets the reply state the minimum, the sampling date and the compliance file set for your line rather than in general.
Request the catalogue
The product catalogue and the procurement guides are sent through the same request form, so that what you receive matches the range and the market you are buying for. There is no direct download link.
Message on WhatsApp
For a short question or a photograph of a reference product, WhatsApp reaches the same team. Messages outside China Standard Time are answered on the next working day.
Send the shape, the packaging spec and the destination market
You get a quote that states the minimum order quantity for that line, the sampling date, and the compliance file set the shipment will carry. Buyers who already have artwork and a packaging format usually get the most useful first response.
